Cancellation, Return & Refund Policy


Policy Overview

Every Kummo product is carefully inspected before shipment. By placing an order on kummotech.com, you confirm that you have read and agreed to the terms below.

Before initiating any chargeback or payment dispute, contact our support team at support@kummotech.com. Most concerns are fully resolved within 24–48 business hours.


1. Order Cancellation

Orders may be canceled free of charge within 6 hours of purchase, provided the order has not entered fulfillment.

After the 6-hour window, a 10% order preparation fee will be deducted from the refund. Once an order has been handed to the carrier, it cannot be canceled and must follow our Return Policy below.


2. Dispute Resolution & Chargebacks

Before initiating any chargeback with your bank or card issuer, please contact us at support@kummotech.com with your order number and description of the issue. Our team responds within 24 business hours and resolves valid claims within 5–10 business days.

Chargebacks filed without prior contact with our support team may be formally contested with the payment processor using the terms agreed to at checkout.


3. 30-Day Guarantee — What It Covers

Eligible for return or replacement:

  • Product arrived defective (broken stitching, torn cover, missing parts)
  • Product arrived damaged during transit
  • Wrong item or wrong quantity received
  • Manufacturing defect appears within 30 days under normal use

To qualify:

  1. Contact support@kummotech.com within 7 days of delivery for transit damage or wrong-item claims, within 30 days for manufacturing defects
  2. Provide your order number along with a clear unboxing video showing the defect or damage at the moment of opening — claims submitted without an unboxing video will not be accepted
  3. Wait for written approval before shipping anything back — items returned without prior approval will not be accepted or refunded

4. What Is NOT Eligible for Return or Refund

  • Comfort preference — too firm, too soft, too thick, or too thin for personal preference. Ergonomic products require a 7–14 day adjustment period. Claims made before completing this period will not be processed.
  • Fit & compatibility — does not fit your specific chair, car seat, or body size. Full dimensions are listed on the product page. Customers are responsible for verifying compatibility before ordering.
  • Medical or therapeutic outcomes — did not relieve a specific condition or pain level. Kummo products are posture-support wellness accessories, not medical devices. Individual results vary.
  • Change of mind — buyer's remorse, duplicate orders, or any change of decision after the order has shipped.
  • Used or opened products — cushions and pillows that have been used, sat on, or removed from original packaging are considered personal hygiene items and cannot be returned. This is consistent with industry standards for body-contact wellness products.
  • Late claims — any claim submitted outside the windows defined in Section 3.
  • Missing unboxing video — defect or damage claims submitted without a continuous unboxing video recorded at the time of opening will not be eligible for return, replacement, or refund, regardless of the nature of the claim.

5. Return Process (Eligible Claims Only)

  1. Email support@kummotech.com with your order number, unboxing video clearly showing the issue, and a description of the problem
  2. Our team reviews within 24–48 business hours and provides written return authorization with return address
  3. Ship back using a tracked service — untracked returns are not covered
  4. For defective, wrong-item, or transit-damage cases, Kummo covers return shipping
  5. For any goodwill exception, customer pays return shipping and a 20% handling fee is deducted from the refund
  6. Refunds processed within 5–10 business days after receipt and inspection

6. What Refunds Cover

Approved refunds cover the product price only. Non-refundable:

  • Original shipping cost
  • Return shipping cost (unless verified defect or wrong item)
  • Order preparation & handling fees where applicable

7. Undeliverable & Unclaimed Packages

Orders undeliverable due to incorrect address, missed delivery, or refused delivery are not eligible for refund. Reshipment may be arranged for an additional fee if the package is recoverable.
